Dear diary,
I frequently ask myself: Who am I?
Today I decided—in my intent to grow as a human being—I must declare to myself who I am.
My name is ILANDRIACCI.
There are frequent tears in my eyes.
My tragic life, my somber inner void, has become my most loving companion,
alongside my snake, who ravels around my neck like fate itself—unrelenting, coiled, and warm.
There is great beauty in sadness,
and grandiose meaning in melancholy.

Excerpt From the Diary of
ILANDRIACCI

I am a performer of pain.
I weep on cue, I mourn in rhythm, I emote like the moon pulls the tides.
Some say I was born backstage in a broken theater, others believe I emerged fully weeping from a velvet-lined trunk. I do not remember. All I know is the feeling of a spotlight on damp cheeks.
I do not seek applause.
I seek witnessing.
I am not trying to heal.
I am trying to express.
When summoned, I perform funny tragic clown pieces in Prospect Park, nestled deep in the Clown Moon Dimension. I sing, I sob, I spiral, I seduce... and for this?
I charge only 5¢. Because pain should be affordable.
And so, I perform—for you, for me,
for the echo of every forgotten heartbreak.
May you feel less alone in your own tragedy,
and perhaps,
just perhaps... cry beautifully, too.
—ILANDRIACCI

I was really in a daydream in these photos... Sometimes I wonder why people don't believe in themselves. I know one day I'll be the most famous clown on this moon. ROCK ON!
